Dennis Hegg Young Director Award

This award was created in 2011 and remembers the spirit and dedication that Dennis Hegg had for mentoring young band directors.

Selection Criteria:

• Must be a current member of the SD Bandmasters Association
• Have not taught more than 10 years, including this year
• Must be in at least their 2nd year of teaching
